My journey exploring different areas of sales over the past twenty years brought me into Travel as well as being a very proud mum of three successful children and being fortunate enough to have travelled to some beautiful places with them has helped excellerate my experience in the travel trade industry.

I progressed from an Admin post to becoming a Sales Manager for a Representation Company overseeing a large hotel account with properties in Thailand/Maldives/Vietnam/Sri Lanka and the Middle East travelling all over the UK and Ireland, networking and building relationships with key players in the market. Now I find myself in this exciting new role offering my services to those who want to explore the retail network, raise the awareness of their hotel/product and increase the product knowledge to a large database of sales team all over the UK and Ireland.

Priding myself in the ability to develop friendly working relationships with all major Tour Operators and High Street agents, increasing product knowledge via training and suggesting strategies which can only lead to growth and development, encourages a mutually beneficial working relationship for both our clients and the travel trade. I work towards a clear win/win scenario and am available to answer any queries as and when needed. We reply any time of the week as we understand arranging a holiday for a client isn't just a Mon to Fri / 9-5 thing.

My strong connections with major international airlines have led to the introduction and organisation of FAM trips with our partners to Thailand and Maldives in the past and I look forward to working with them again as well as new partners for us to explore into new destinations.

Interactions with the major Tour Operators and High Street agents are part of the job I love the most. Being able to interact and meet different people all the time is great. I am able to learn and understand how different people work and adapt my process to work best for them. I want to ensure we can help increase revenue from the UK and Irish markets via our leisure and corporate partners by exposing our partners and smaller agents to invaluable in house training on a regular basis, whether this is showcased face to face on a laptop or tv screen or on a stage or virtually at the comfort of my desk. Training and educating the sales teams plays an important part in my working week where I can see and visit anywhere from five to one hundred agents at any given time and I will never forget how each and every one of them are all as equally important as each other.

The history, destination, hotel facilities and offerings of all of our clients' hotels/product is paramount for everyone to experience and learn about in my training sessions and I always try to own the room whilst doing so, as this gives me so much pride and satisfaction especially as I have been able to experience each product on offer first hand, so I really do know what I am talking about and I can really get the key messages across to the agents.

I look forward to learning about new hotels and products and reaching out to our large database of agents and tour operators.
